GENERAL

What are the dates of the event?
Elite Retreat will be held October 8 – 10. View the Agenda. Attendees should plan to arrive on Sunday, October 8 before 5:00 p.m. and depart on Tuesday, October 10, unless arrangements have been made to extend your stay.

What is the recommended attire?
Resort casual attire is recommended for all event activities. Average temperatures range from 58° – 78°F. Remember to pack a light sweater or jacket and your peachiest outfits.

Can I transfer my invitation to someone else?
In the event you are unable to attend, your invitation is not transferrable to anyone else. 

Can I bring a guest?
Yes. Every advisor is invited to bring up to one (1) guest. Any guests requiring additional rooms are your responsibility and subject to hotel room availability.

Can my admin or assistant attend?
If your admin is your invited guest (e.g., spouse), they are subject to all guest policies (see "Can I bring a guest?" above).

What expenses are covered by Private Advisor Group?
All advisors receive a two-night hotel stay for Sunday, October 8 and Monday, October 9; travel reimbursement up to $300; and all event meals.

What expenses are not covered by Private Advisor Group?
Attendees are responsible for additional hotel nights before or after the event (subject to hotel availability); additional rooms or room upgrades; travel expenses beyond the reimbursable amount; meals and activities not included in the official event agenda; and local transportation and parking.

REGISTRATION

What is the registration fee?
There is no registration fee for advisors attending the event. Other registrant types may be subject to an additional registration fee

When is the registration deadline?
Registration closes on Wednesday, September 13 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

How do I modify my registration?
To modify your conference registration, click the link in your confirmation email or sign in. Make any modifications to your registration and save. You will receive an email confirming your modifications. All modifications to your conference registration must be made by September 15.

To modify your hotel reservation, click the link in the confirmation email you received from the hotel. All modifications to your hotel reservation must be made through the dedicated hotel booking link by October 4.

CANCELLATION

How do I cancel my conference attendance?
To cancel your attendance, please complete the following steps:

  1. Cancel your conference registration by clicking the cancel registration link in your confirmation email, or by signing in. Navigate to the Cancel Registration step and select the X next to your Registrant Details.
  2. Cancel your hotel reservation by clicking the cancellation link in the confirmation email from the hotel.

If you fail to cancel your conference registration more than 72 hours prior to the conference, you may be charged a late cancellation or no-show fee. Cancellations or no-shows forfeit any travel reimbursement.

AGENDA

When can I see the full agenda?
Stay tuned; it’s coming soon! We’re still working on bringing the perfect agenda into alignment.

Is there a printable version of the agenda?
There is not a printable agenda for this event. Access the agenda via your mobile device at  events.privateadvisorgroup.com/elite or with the Private Advisor Group Events app.

Who can attend what?
All attendees and guests are invited to attend the Welcome Reception on Sunday, October 8; and breakfast, lunch, and the Closing Dinner on Monday, October 9. The education sessions on Monday, October 9 are specifically tailored for advisors.

TRAVEL & REIMBURSEMENT

How do I make my travel arrangements?
Attendees are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. View the Agenda as you plan your travel. Please complete and confirm your conference registration and lodging prior to making any travel arrangements.

What airport should I fly into?
The nearest major airport is Savannah Hilton Head International Airport [SAV] which is about 25 minutes from the hotel.

Can I travel by train?
The destination is reachable by train. Travel to the Savannah, GA station, which is about 15 minutes from the hotel.

How much is parking?
There is discounted self-parking parking for $20 per night. This is not reimbursable.

How do I arrange ground transportation to and from the hotel?
All guests are responsible for coordinating their own ground transportation via taxi, rideshare, transit, or other means.

What is the travel reimbursement policy?
Advisors are eligible for up to $300 in travel reimbursement toward airfare, train fare, or driving mileage. Business class, first-class, and airfare purchased with points are not reimbursable. If you would like to upgrade your flight, you may submit the economy ticket price for reimbursement only. Driving mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard mileage rate. Guest travel, trip insurance, parking, and ground transportation are not eligible for reimbursement.

How do I submit my reimbursement request?
Once you have made travel arrangements, submit your request through the Reimbursement Form by October 31. If you are traveling by air or train, you will need to upload a receipt of your expense. If you are traveling by car, you will need to upload a roundtrip map showing the total mileage.

When will I receive my reimbursement?
All reimbursement requests will be disbursed after the request deadline, and may take weeks to process. If you have any questions, please contact accounting@privateadvisorgroup.com.

LODGING

Where are we staying?
The event is being held at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa located at 1 Resort Dr., Savannah, GA 31421.

How do I book my hotel room?
After registering for the conference, you will be directed to a dedicated booking link to make your hotel reservation.  Use only this booking link to make your hotel reservation; any rooms booked through any other means will not be covered by Private Advisor Group.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and hotel approval.

What is the room cost?
The discounted group room rate is $259 + taxes and fees per night.

Can I extend my stay?
You may book additional nights at the discounted room rate (see above) October 10 – 12. This rate is subject to hotel availability and at your expense. Please make your extension requests through the dedicated booking link you will be directed to after you complete your conference registration.

If you are planning to extend your stay in Savannah, please be aware that availability at The Westin Savannah Harbor is extremely limited, with some dates sold out. When you make your hotel reservation, if you encounter an error, it's because your selected dates are not available. If you are unable to reserve rooms before or after the event, please make your hotel reservation for the event dates and consider one of these alternatives for your pre- and post-event stay:
